Hi! Welcome to my site. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a trained professional Primary School teacher with over 40 years experience in New Zealand schools. Presently I farm in a beautiful part of the Waikato, Karakariki giving me hands on personal experience of all the many issues and challenges faced by the rural sector.
I have been a member of the Hamilton Ward for Environment Waikato for three years and enjoy the challenges and responsibilities this involves.
A group of councillors formed the Rates Control Team four years ago in an endeavour to maintain rates at a realistic level. On this site I plan to post a flow of information covering matters related to the Team and Regional issues in general.
